Rotary Club of B’dos West partners with Diamonds Int’l

For the 20th year, the Rotary Club of Barbados West has partnered with Diamonds International.

To host their annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Royal Westmoreland Golf Course.

With an aim of having at least 24 corporate teams participating, president of Rotary West Gregory Hazzard says this year’s proceeds will be used to aid three major projects – the Childhood Obesity Prevention Project, a Financial Literacy Programme for secondary school students, along with a programme geared towards the primary schools.

Managing Director of Diamonds International, Jacob Hassid, says as corporate sponsors they look to three major elements when supporting iniatives consistency in the projects; causes that aim to better lives, provide opportunities or aid in improvement; and the persons behind them are reputable.

With the rotary continuing to meet these mandates, this is the foundation of the continued partnership.

The Diamonds International/Rotary Club of Barbados West Charity Golf Tournament will tee off on October 6.
