September 17, 2024

Barbados Royals are aiming to end their home leg of the Republic Bank CPL with another win this one against St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots.

The Royals are leading the standings on eight points, after going 2-1 so far in their home leg.

Victory will give them 10 points and keep the Patriots in last place on two points while defeat for the Royals could see them slip to the 2nd spot behind St. Lucia Kings.

Weather permitting, tonight’s match is going to be live on MCTV’s Sportsmax channel 310, and tape-delayed from 8:03 p.m. on CBC TV8.

Now, during their home stint, members of the Royals franchise along with officials from the tournament’s title sponsor – Republic Bank, held a motorcade as they showcased the continued support and development for young T-20 cricketers on the island and in the region.

Some of the current players, entertainers and staff, participated in the motorcade which stopped at various spots, including several Republic Bank branches where the royals interacted with locals and signed memorabilia along the way.

There was also a meet and greet at the Floyd Reifer Balcony at the 3Ws Oval, as fans relished the opportunity to take selfies with some of their favourite players.
