Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley plans to speak to the nation sometime this week on the recent increase of violent crimes on the island.
Ms. Mottley made the revelation today at State House where President Dame Sandra Mason administered the Oath of Allegiance to incoming Barbados Defence Force Chief of Staff Lieutenant Colonel Carlos Lovell.
