Barbadians are being advised to obtain a water tank to ensure they have a supply in-store when outages occur.
Renewable Energy Specialist with the Outreach Consultancy Felicia Cox says it is better to have an elevated tank to allow for gravity fed water.
She was speaking during a Water Resilience Community meeting at the St. John Parish Church.
Ms. Cox is asking people to install the tanks as part of their water supply system rather than standard storage.
She says this will allow the water to circulate and prevent stagnant water issues.
