Construction vehicles continue to wreak havoc on utilities in the Gaggs Hill, and Cleavers Hill areas of St. Joseph.
Around midday, today a Ready-Mix concrete delivery truck snagged telephone and electric lines in Cleavers Hill.
Luckily someone nearby shouted to the driver to stop.
By then the action had already damaged a utility pole.
However, the person’s quick action prevented the downing of the lines.
The scene was a bit different on Gaggs Hill a truck downed power lines cutting electricity to several homes and businesses.
This is now about the fifth time in the year residents in the area have been made to suffer at the hands of truck drivers delivering building materials to a construction site in Bathsheba.
