Motorists are being asked to drive cautiously when they see crews from the Ministry of Transport and Works repainting school pedestrian crossings around the island.
Technical Officer Responsible for Road Markings, Kirk Marshall, says he wants to see motorists having regard for the workmen on the road, particularly at night all in an effort to increase safety for children and other road users.
He was speaking to CBC News at Hastings, Christ Church where a crew was on the job.
Mr. Marshall explains road marking crews have been utilising technology to improve the process across the island.
