As countries in the region place renewed focus on the impacts of climate change, Barbados has called attention to other challenges confronting the Caribbean.
Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Patrick McCaskie says many are unfolding right before our eyes.
He cited the declining and ageing population and geopolitical tensions as examples.
Mr. McCaskie was among the speakers for a meeting of the Caribbean Development Roundtable and the 30th Session of the Caribbean Development and Cooperation Committee in Trinidad and Tobago.
