All systems go for new school term

Schools will be ready for the new school year, which begins next week.

This assurance is coming from Minister of Education Kay McConney who says remedial work at the majority of the 26 plants that are a part of this year’s summer programme are either completed or close to completion.

She says outstanding works which are ongoing due to supply chain issues will also be done.

Minister McConney has also revealed the Ministry has developed a new programme which involves repairs being done to school plants throughout the year instead of only at summer time.
