Inaugural Royals Girls’ camp hailed as a success

September 10, 2024

The Barbados Royals cricketers are on island getting ready for tomorrow’s first home CPL match against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons.

But they took some time out from training to engage with the girls who participated in the recent Barbados Royals Girls’ Cricket Club Summer Camp.

The girls were able to mix and mingle with some of the well known players from the Royals Men’s and CPL 2024 champion Women’s team.

It was also the occasion for the girls to receive their certificates of participation from some of the Royals’ key players like Jason Holder, Trishan Holder and Skipper Rovman Powell.

In addition, the girls will be given free access to all of the Royals’ upcoming home games at Kensington Oval.

In a special question and answer segment, Royals Women player Trishan Holder shared some words of advice to the young ladies.

Meanwhile, CEO of the Barbados Royals franchise, Jake Lush McCrum, says he’s pleased with the work being done with the Royals Girls’ Cricket Club so far, as it is meeting the mandate of developing young female cricketing talent.
