A Government Minister sees a role for the church in helping to boost literacy rates impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This amid concerns some of the island’s children have fallen back significantly with their reading.
Minister of State in the Ministry of Education, Sandra Husbands says the Ministry is already working to tackle the challenges.
Her comments came during a service at the Western Light Church of the Nazarene to observe International Literacy Day.
