HALLANDALE BEACH, Florida, CMC – Champion trainer Saffie Joseph Jr continued his dominance at Gulfstream Park, saddling three winners during the Sunshine Meet on Saturday.
The Barbadian, fresh from winning his 10th consecutive trainer’s title at Gulfstream, was in winners’ row with R Morning Brew, Lorenz and All Class.
Once again, Joseph joined forces with jockey Edgar Zayas as two-year-old filly R Morning Brew won the over 1200-metre $100, 000 FLBOA Florida Sire Desert Vixen Stakes in 1:10.85.
Lorenz, a six-year-old bay gelding with jockey Drayden van Dyke in the saddle, then captured the $75, 000 Handicap going 1600 metres in 1:33.27.
Joseph then capped off an outstanding day when All Class, a four-year-old bay filly ridden by Sklyer Spanabel led from start to finish on the way to winning the Allowance Optional Claiming 1400 metres sprint in 1:23.04.
