The first leg of the Red Foundation “Walk The Talk,” charity walk was held this morning from East Point Lighthouse to the Barbados Concord Experience by the Airport.
The charity holds four walks yearly to raise funds to assist the less fortunate. CBC News spoke to Committee Member, Carl Padmore; Chairperson, Jennifer Hinkson; and donor Lynette Gooding, about the organisation’s efforts.
The second leg is scheduled for 6 a.m. next Sunday, September 15, from the Barbados Concord Experience to the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation in the Pine, St. Michael.
