PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago, CMC – An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 rocked sections of the twin-island republic on Saturday afternoon.
The Seismic Research Centre at the University of the West Indies St. Augustine campus says the quake occurred at 3:06 p.m. (local time).
It was felt in sections of the capital, Port of Spain, Arima and Scarborough in Tobago.
There were no reports of damage or injuries.
