A local educator is again making a case for closer attention to be paid to Bajan dialect.
Past President of the Barbados Association of Reading Sharon Warner says research shows the benefits of people being able to use their home language.
Amid concerns about the poor English results at the CXC level, she believes it’s important to explain to students the differences in the structure of the two languages.
