Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has voiced support for the use of school properties by residents of surrounding communities.
She made the comment during this week’s Parish Speaks at the Alleyne School in St. Andrew.
A resident questioned why the computer lab at the A. Dacosta Edwards Primary School was not being used to hold I.T. classes for residents, in the absence of a resource centre.
Prime Minister Mottley welcomed the suggestion as she notes schools are largely under-utilised outside of regular school hours.
