3 remanded on firearm, ammunition charges

2 men and a woman have been remanded to Dodds after appearing in court on firearm and ammunition charges.

They are 35-year-old Rodney Ramario Rogers of Fairy Valley, Christ Church, 30-year-old Jamar Emmanuel Polin of Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church, and 35-year-old Celia Alicia Taylor of #170 7th Avenue, West Terrace Gardens, St. James.

The trio was arrested and jointly charged for the offences of Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition, which were committed on Monday, July 29, 2024 while at Maxwell Hill Road, Maxwell, Christ Church.

Rogers was also charged separately for the offences of Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.

They appeared before Magistrate Manila Renee in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court # 2 today.

They are scheduled to reappear in the Oistins Magistrate Court on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
