Barbados’ Matthew Wright was unable to line up for the Men’s Triathlon at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, as the water quality levels in the River Seine remain poor.
The event was originally scheduled for Tuesday morning, however, officials decided to postpone it until Wednesday, in hopes that conditions would improve.
They noted that while there has been some improvement in the River Seine, tests show that the water is still not at acceptable levels.
