Barbados’ former Climate Envoy Professor Avinash Persaud has been named among Bloomberg Green’s 13 Ones to Watch Around the World.
He has been highlighted for building new systems for climate finance.
Persaud, who is now working with the Inter-American Development Bank, told CBC News that he is flattered to be in the grouping of people who are addressing the climate crisis.
He counts it as Barbados’ reward.
