Barbados secured their first points of the West Indies Rising Stars Men’s under-19 50-Overs Championship by defeating Trinidad and Tobago by three wickets today in St. Vincent.
Sent into bat in a round two fixture at Arnos Vale playing field, T&T were bowled out for 161 in 47.3 overs.
Saurav Worrell took four for 23, while Andrew Rambaran top-scored with 69.
In their reply, the Bajan boys got home on 162 for seven in 43.2 overs, thanks mainly to 45 from Joshua Morris and 41 from Nathan Sealy.
Barbados’ next match will be against Jamaica under-19s on Friday.
