Improved education and labelling are among the elements of new initiatives to guide the rum and spirits industry.
The revelation from Chief Executive Officer of the West Indies Rum and Spirits Association, Vaughn Renwick at the end of their 50th anniversary annual general meeting in Barbados.
He says improving consumer education is high on the agenda of the thirteen member countries.
The CEO says server training is also coming to the industry.
