Students of the Wesley Hall Junior School are expected to return to the classroom tomorrow, Tuesday, July 9.
The school has been closed since the passage of Hurricane Beryl a week ago, as repair work being undertaken there had to be halted as a result of the adverse weather.
Prior to the passage of the system, the Ministry of Education had committed to carrying out essential repairs, tree-trimming and industrial cleaning, after teachers raised concerns about the conditions at the school.
Officials from the Ministry, teachers’ union and the school are expected to conduct a walk-through today, to assess the work done so far.
With the school term set to end on Thursday for students, they are expected to use the days this week to complete any year-end activities.
