Jamaica is the latest Caribbean country to feel the wrath of Hurricane Beryl as it passed south of that island.
Significant damage to property was reported and thousands were left without power after Beryl battered the island with hurricane-force winds, heavy rain, and storm surges.
Minister of Information, Senator Dana Morris-Dixon says the government is in assessment and response mode.
