Four Barbadians have advanced to the singles finals of the 2024 Junior Caribbean Area Squash Association Championships, after day 2 in the British Virgin Islands.
In the under-19 boys category, #2 seed Alex Stewart secured his spot in the finals by defeating Guyana’s Michael Alphonso.
He will face Nicholas Verwey in the finals this evening.
In the under-19 girls, #2 Eboni Atherley secured her place in the final when she triumphed in another gripping semi-final against Sanjana Nallapati from Jamaica.
She will now challenge the #1 seed another Jamaican Katherine Risden.
In the under-15 boys, Daniel Sealy upset the #2 seed to make the finals against #1 seed Jayden George.
And in the under-13 girls, Olivia Watts, seeded #2, will face #1 Kaylee Pierre from the Cayman Islands in that final scheduled for today.
