West Indies legend Joel Garner was recognised for his exploits in cricket on Wednesday night in New York City, as part of the Caribbean Tourism Organisation’s 2024 Caribbean Week celebration.
Speaking during a ceremony hosted by the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc., Minister of Tourism Ian Gooding-Edghill said Garner played a significant role in the island’s tourism market with cricket.
Meanwhile, Garner expressed gratitude to tourism officials for their continued work with the Legends to promote cricket.
