The Caribbean Development Bank has stressed the importance of Barbados and its other borrowing member states working together, to address the current challenges confronting the region.
Acting CDB President Isaac Solomon says this commitment is reflected in the theme for the 54th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors underway in Canada, under the theme Partnerships for Resilient Prosperity.
Minister in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, Ryan Straughn is representing the island at the meeting.
Mr. Solomon says the challenges are too complex and large for any single organisation, government or community to solve alone.
He says the CDB is driving change throughout the region.
