Man dies after fall from roof

A 67-year-old man has died after falling from the roof of his home.

He has been identified as Jerry Adolphus Alleyne of Drax Hall Woods, St. George.

Police responded to the scene after being informed around 10:55 a.m. that a man had fallen from a roof and appeared lifeless.

They say Mr. Alleyne was doing some roof repairs, when he lost his balance and fell.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by a doctor.

Investigations are ongoing into the matter.
