The agricultural sector is set to get a much needed injection through the Farmers’ Empowerment and Enfranchisement Drive (FEED) programme.
Already 1200 people have been trained out of a pool of about 2000 applicants, and approximately 350 have been placed on lands to farm.
This is according to Agricultural Services Division Manager at the Barbados Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation Dr. Jamekal Andwele.
