Local fisherfolk are reporting a glut of amberfish.
The Bridgetown Fish Market was a hive of activity yesterday as a result of the influx.
Boat Captain Harvey Lorde says the sargassum seaweed is responsible for the glut this week and he expects it would continue for the remainder of the week.
Fish Vendor Judy Sobers gave details about the day’s activity.
She said there were other catches and called on Barbadians to make good use of the opportunity as prices are down.
