Some 23 Cadet Companies across the island now have a new group of Cadets in their companies as the 2023 intake held their Passing Out Parade yesterday.
The recruits are drawn from 22 secondary schools and one independent company.
Speaking on the sidelines, Commander David Dowridge, Commandant of the Barbados Cadet Corp, noted the success of the recruitment.
The Commandant says the youngsters performed well at the parade and CBC spoke with some of them who were in winners row.
Combermere’s 12-year-old Chelsea Watts says it wasn’t easy but she stayed the course.
