Regional grouping, CARICOM is advocating for full compliance with international law as it voiced its concern over the ongoing violence and deteriorating situation in Gaza.
The 15-member bloc’s position was amplified by Dominica’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Dr. Philbert Aaron.
He was participating in the UN’s General Assembly: 51st plenary meeting, Tenth emergency special session.
Dr. Aaron says CARICOM recognises the rights of the Palestinian people to their own state.
