Employers across Barbados have been challenged to host an activity highlighting the importance of health and safety in the workplace.
Executive Director of the Barbados Employers’ Confederation (BEC), Sheena Mayers-Granville says this is one of the topics to be included during their week of activities.
Other activities include the annual general meeting, a luncheon and panel discussion and a fireside chat.
Additionally, BEC’s President Gail-Ann King is calling for a mandatory national standard of time, which will need to be measured in weeks rather than days and discussed at the tripartite level.
