Political Analyst Peter Wickham believes the suspension of Democratic Labour Party General Secretary Steve Blackett is the right move.
The suspension comes less than three weeks after Mr. Blackett filed a no-confidence motion against Opposition Leader and the Party’s Political Leader Ralph Thorne.
In a letter, Mr. Blackett charged that Mr. Thorne had caused turmoil and confusion in the party, since being admitted as a member in February.
Mr. Wickham believes there was no turning back from that point, and also spoke about the possible next steps.
