A religious leader wants local gospel music producers to compose more wholesome musical content, to help drown out the secular genres and uplift the society.
She’s Assistant Pastor at the Faith Temple Ministries International Church, Sandra Johnson.
She says many Christians have created songs but keep them to themselves and this allows secular music to dominate the airwaves.
She made the remarks during a service at the church on Roebuck Street.
Pastor Johnson says the church is often guilty of promoting North American musicians at the expense of local talent.
