As the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) commemorates its 60th anniversary, it has been rebranded ‘UN Trade and Development’.
The organisation will adopt its new name and logo across all official channels, in the six UN languages, marking its first rebranding in sixty years.
Secretary-General Rebeca Grynspan, during a press conference says the new brand represents a stronger and renewed organisation committed to expanding its reach and voice as a firm advocate for developing countries.
Ms. Grynspan revealed as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations, a Global Leaders Forum will be convened in Geneva in June.
