Call to work closer with private sector

Barbados has told a Global Forum on Science, Innovation and ICT of the importance of partnerships as countries move to advance economic development.

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Innovation, Science and Technology, Marva Howell says governments must acknowledge their limitation and be willing to collaborate with the private sector and civil society.

She was participating in the 4th Meeting of the Economic Cooperation on Latin America and the Caribbean Conference on Science, Innovation and ICT in Colombia.
