Given the importance of tourism to Barbados, Government Senator Patricia Parris has called for attention to be placed on vital signage across the island in need of repair and replacement.
The call came during her contribution to Debate on the Road Traffic (Amendment) Bill in the Upper House.
Senator Parris also made a plea for a re-examination of the pedestrian crossings on Barbados’ roads.
She raised concern, citing she’s seen the behaviour of motorists on a daily basis.
