General Secretary of the Barbados Workers’ Union, Toni Moore, is warning employees about becoming comfortable in situations and being afraid to speak up for their rights.
Speaking at the union’s Annual Delegates conference, Ms. Moore noted fear is linked to a colonial mentality.
Meanwhile, Senior Minister Kerrie Symmonds has praised the BWU for its contribution to the island and its workers.
