Advocating for the appointment of a Chief Nursing Officer is among the key priorities for the new Executive of the Barbados Nurses Association.
This was revealed by Incoming President, Dr. Fay Parris, as she delivered her acceptance speech during the organisation’s 86th annual general meeting.
She says continuing discussions on allowances and health insurance for members are also on the agenda.
According to Dr. Parris, the Association also intends to be part of national efforts to address nurse migration.
