Outstanding alumni & former principals at Graydon Sealy Secondary School honoured

Outstanding alumni and former principals of Garrison Secondary, now called the Graydon Sealy Secondary School have been honoured.

A mural at that institution now bears their likenesses.

Officials from the Ministry of Education unveiled the artwork called ‘Blazing the Trail’ on the Paddock Road compound as part of their schools’ mural programme.

Those featured include entertainers Ricky ‘Lil Rick’ Reid’, Christina ‘Chrissy D’ Dottin, cricketer Dwayne Smith and former Principal Matthew Farley.

Education Minister Kay McConney, while explaining the rationale of the programme, encouraged current students to strive for excellence in all fields.

School’s Principal Peter Cox outlined the importance of education and the many doors that can be opened.
