Catholic Bishop comments on U.S. abortion law change

Catholic Bishop, The Most Reverend Neil Scantlebury, has welcomed the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn a woman’s legal right to an abortion.

He spoke about the controversial decision, which has sparked protests across the US, during Holy Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Sunday.

Bishop Neil says regardless of how the child came about, even in cases of incest, it is still a child.

He went on to question why there hasn’t been a similar outcry for abortions as there have been for murders.
