Bumper turnout for Fore day Morning parade

One serious incident tarnished what would otherwise have been a smooth Foreday Morning Jam.
Lawmen say that just before 8 Saturday morning a man in his twenties received a gunshot to his upper torso along Spring Garden.
He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he is now said to be in stable condition.
The parade was mostly incident free except for a few skirmishes which were stopped by lawmen and at least one person was also injured in a bottle throwing incident.
The Foreday Morning Jam 2012 was the biggest so far with a record 38 registered bands on the road.
