Four more swimmers qualify for Carifta

Keilani Talma has booked her ticket for Carifta 2017 as she made the qualifying standard at the BASA long course national championships at the Wildey Aquatic Centre.

Swimming in the girls 11-12 100 meter butterfly and 200 meter freestyle, Talma of Pirates swam 1:11:66 in the shorter race and 2:22.11 in the freestyle.

Also qualifying was Aza Dunwoody also in the girls 11-12 fly with a time of 1:11.84 as she finished second behind Talma.

Meanwhile in the boys 11-12 200 meter free style, Zachary Taylor of Pirates clocked 2:15:96 and his teammate Christopher Pollard was timed at 2:16:72 to qualify as well.
