A United States visitor was killed following an accident Sunday night.
The name and age of the deceased has not been released.
Another US visitor, 62-year-old Lorraind Earl was injured. She complained of head, neck and back injuries.
The two visitors were staying at the Divi Heritage.
According to police, both visitors were on a pedestrian crossing when a car, which was travelling towards Sandy Lane, overtook another car and struck them.
The car was driven by 26-year-old Honey Griffith of Rock Hall St Lucy.
