Last Saturday's brazen murder of Onica King has left a bitter taste in the mouths of neighbours in the Leadvale, Christ Church community where she lived.
The house shared by thirty-six year old Guyanese nail technician, Onica King and her husband, David DaCosta King on Sunday morning was completely empty.
That's because on Saturday, Onica was the victim of a brutal stabbing in the city and a man hunt is underway for her killer.
According to reports, the slain wife had been removed from the matrimonial home by police after a dispute less than a week ago.
The Leadvale Christ Church community where she lived is in shock .
One neighbour says before Saturday's stabbing, they had already been affected by two of the island's ten killings this year.
Another neighbor and close friend of the family, Ricardo Straker is also struggling to come to grips with the developments.
He describes the slain woman as very quiet and reserved.
But he's most concerned with the couple's young children- a three year-old girl, and six year-old boy.
Both of them allegedly at the scene of their mother's attack.
Relatives of the children say they've been asking question about the incident ever since.
