The National Union of Public Workers is calling for an investigation into the management of the Psychiatric Hospital.
The call came from General Secretary of the Union, Rosalind Smith.
She says dozens of workers have not been paid since June and dozens more are leaving for Bermuda because they are frustrated with the developments there.
Ms Smith says the situation warrants an immediate investigation by the Ministry of Health to try and rectify matters at the Psychiatric Hospital.
When contacted hospital director David Leacock directed CBC to speak to the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Health, June Chandler.
