Darsie Athelert Forde, of Kingsland Terrace, Christ Church and the U.K., former Treasurer of the Diabetes Association of Barbados, Southern Region, Son of the late Rhoda Forde and Darsie Samples, Husband of the late Edlyn Forde, Father of Anthony “Tony” Forde of the U.K., Grandfather of Clinton Forde of the U.K., Brother of the late Sylvia Prince, Brother-in-law of Esterline Small, Uncle of Eleanor Padmore, Timothy Slinger, Margaret Forde, Simon and Carol Prince, Great Uncle of seven, Cousin of Larry, Richard, Violet and David Robinson, Clairmonte Forde, Pauline and Doreen Waithe, Relative of the Small and Henry families of Orange Hill and many others

The funeral of Darsie Athelert Forde leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Saturday, August 26th, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. for James Street Methodist Church, James Street, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the service. The funeral will then proceed to the Westbury Cemetery for the interment.

The Organist and members of the church choir are asked to attend.

Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home no later than 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
