A house was destroyed, and the headquarters of the Hope Foundation damaged, during an early morning blaze.
Lawmen say they received a report of a house fire about quarter past two at Number 23 George Street, Belleville, St. Michael.
Two fire tenders responded and extinguished the blaze at the abandoned building.
However hours later they were called back to the scene after the fire re-ignited.
The owner of the razed building is unknown.
However, one of the windows in the building next door, which houses the Hope Foundation, cracked as a result of the heat.
Investigations in to how the blaze began are continuing.
