Barbadians can expect to pay more on their electricity bills this month.
The Barbados Light and Power Company Limited says this is due to an increase in the fuel clause adjustment by seven cents this month.
This could see householders paying on average, about twenty dollars more.
Manager of communications and government relations at the BL&P Jackie Marshall-Clarke further explains the reason behind the increase.
Mrs. Marshall-Clarke says BL&P are hoping the fuel clause adjustment will be reduced soon and they are looking at implementing several measures including revisiting the fuel hedging application which was unsuccessful last year.
