Police in Trinidad and Tobago say a 15-year-old boy killed over the weekend was shot 37 times by unknown assailants.
The boy was positively identified by relatives who visited the Forensic Science Centre.
The boy's body bore gunshot wounds to the head, chest, back and both hands.
His rela¬tives say the Chagaramas teen left home on Friday to visit other family in Laventille, where he intended to stay for carnival celebrations.
They say they didn't know how the teenager ended up in Belmont where he was killed nor why he was shot multiple times.
