President of the National Union of Public Workers, Akanni McDowall, is expected to return a credit card belonging to the National Union of Public Workers, exactly when is unclear.
A source confirmed the development.
Mr. McDowall was ordered before the National Council Wednesday to answer questions relating to the NUPW's financing.
Wednesday night, after the meeting which lasted more than seven hours, General Secretary Roslyn Smith, flanked by the embattled president revealed that his position remains secure.
Mr. McDowall refused to comment on the developments and Ms Smith revealed the Union would only emerge stronger out of the discussions.
